Where do you even start analysing that Lincoln performance? The four catastrophic goals would be an obvious start - and the route we’re going to take here - but the issues ran deeper than the goals alone.
It was a performance worthy of a sacking, so it was no surprise to see Nicky Hayen relieved of his duties on Saturday evening, with the search for a new manager now under way.
The new manager will have his work cut out to rectify the mess left behind and the soft under belly which has been on display all season.
In the meantime though, let’s look at where it all went wrong against Lincoln, and where better place to start than the first goal.
