The BIG Preview - Burnley v Charlton

Burnley finally picked up their first win under Nicky Hayen at the weekend and look to follow it up when they host a Charlton side who they've enjoyed facing of late.

The Nicky Hayen era at Burnley finally got lift-off on Saturday as his side powered past Watford, picking up a 4-0 victory to move them off the foot of the Championship.

Now looking to garner that momentum into a meaningful charge up the table, the Clarets play host to Charlton on Tuesday night, knowing another swift three points could see them climb a few more places.

Skepticism has made way for cautious optimism at Turf Moor in the wake of Saturday’s impressive display, but the next test will be ending a lengthy winless home league run that is approaching its one-year anniversary.

Charlton will certainly be no pushovers along the way, but their momentum has waned slightly after a solid start to the campaign.
