For Nicky Hayen, Saturday’s trip to Watford feels like win-or-bust with Burnley currently footing up the Championship.

The international break has afforded Hayen some much-needed time to get fitness into the legs of his players - or at least those not selected for international duty - but perhaps most importantly we’re three weeks closer to seeing Josh Cullen and Dastan Satpayev return.

Only Satpayev will be fit enough for this visit to Hertfordshire, but their impending returns could be huge to Burnley’s fortunes.

It won’t just be the supporters delighted to see them back though, Hayen sure will be too, as he battles to keep his job amid growing fan pressure. That’s pressure which is likely to intensify if Burnley’s winless run stretches further on Saturday, and here we’re going preview this weekend’s trip to Vicarage Road.
