Lincoln v Burnley - Three Things To Look Out For

Saturdays are hardly welcomed in the current climate for Burnley, but this weekend sees the Clarets journey to Lincoln and we've picked out three things to keep an eye out for this weekend

Saturday has a do-or-die feel to it for Nicky Hayen, who knows a failure to beat Lincoln City is almost certain to move him nearer to the exit door.

That’s at least from a fan’s point of view, but whether Alan Pace and the board replicate that view is an entirely different proposition, and one which will potentially never be known.

It would maybe be amiss to call this game a ‘must-win’ for Hayen, especially given he labelled the Derby game as such and remained in the post afterwards despite only drawing that game.

That makes it a little trickier to call what’s going to happen in the wake of this match, but there’s a huge 90 minutes of football to get through before that becomes a prevalent topic of discussion.
