It’s the dawn of a new era for Burnley, who will take to the pitch for the first time under Fabio Celestini on Saturday when they host Portsmouth at Turf Moor.

Celstini’s swift appointment came just four days after Nicky Hayen was dismissed following last week’s humiliating 4-1 defeat away to Lincoln, but there are already plenty of questions about what to expect in the coming weeks.

Celestini had a chequered career behind him, with his main success coming whilst in charge of Basel when he guided them to the Swiss Super League title, yet poor stints in charge of a handful of other clubs muddy the waters somewhat.
